These are examples of music videos that my audience for my magazine may listen to, and these are the type of people that i am aiming my magazine towards. These music videos represent my type of audience i am aiming towards, i represents them, by the type of clothes that they might wear and what they may be interested in.

Demographics

Demographics helps to identify your audience and is a statistic table that shows characteristics of the audience, in a demographic table you'll identify the audiences age, gender, income and employment status ect.


this helps you to understand your audience and what they may look for in your music magazine and whom you are aiming your magazine towards and how you can meet their needs. for my music magazine ill be aiming to the audiences of D-working class and C2- skilled working class, ill be aiming my magazine to these audiences because my magazine will be published every fortnight at a low price that these social grade and status audience can afford and would be willing to pay for a music magazine each week. My magazine is going to have the style of Kerrang magazine and NME magazine as these are magazines that appeal to the audience of the social class that i have chosen. These two magazines probably appeal to these social classes more than the other social class and status audience because they are priced at an affordable price and appeals to young adults. my magazine will be sold in shops where you can usually find these types of magazines and places where these social class audiences that i have aimed my magazine at shop usually.

Q have used their traditional colours of Red and White which is the main colour theme that features on most of the issues of the Q magazine the colours that Q used also help the audience to recognize and spot out this magazine. The main image on the front cover is of the band muse, this also helps us to recognize that Q is a music magazine and publishes about the music genre of ‘Indie’. the way the image of muse is used and the line “Muse boldly go where no band has gone before” and the image used uses a low angle shot making muse look very powerful and that they are a band to look up to.
 Q magazine is published every month in the United Kingdom by the publishers Bauer Media Group who also publish other music magazines such as “Kerrang” which is aimed at the music genre of Rock and Metal, they also publish magazines such as “Grazia” Q also has a radio station.
Q magazine cost £3.99 which suggest its aimed at the working / middle class but with it being such a thick magazine and coming out monthly rather than weekly it is a pretty affordable magazine.
This issue of Q represents music and power which can be seen from the main image of Muse posing very powerfully and that they are a highly respected band and are about to do something amazing with their music.


The double page spread features Muse who are the main image on the magazine cover, the artists in the main image on the front cover of the magazine usually have a double paged spread in the magazine.
 The main image on the double page spread again uses a low angle shot looking up, showing that muse and in power again.
The word on the side of the page “size” is bigger from the rest of the text in size which also relates to the word size.
The colour them Red and White have also been used again which is the main them colours for Q magazine.
